Martha Conley Obituary
She was born November 26, 1941 in Fulks Run to the late Howard Clory and Lillie Wetsel Fulk.
Jane had worked at Cargill and H.D. Lee Company. She was a lifetime member of Mtn. Grove Church of the Brethren in Fulks Run. She enjoyed talking on the phone to her family and friends, and listening to WBTX, especially Chris Runion. She loved gardening, flowers, and bird watching.
On July 3, 1965 she married E.B. Conley, Jr., who survives.
She is also survived by her son, Aaron Conley of Broadway; sisters, Helen Whitmer, Maybelle "Hope" Ritchie, Joy Simmers and husband Harold; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her brothers, Matthew Fulk, Biedler Fulk, Howard C. "Junior" Fulk, Boyd Fulk; and sisters, Naomi Custer, Marjorie Carr, and Alma Conley.
Pastors Jerry Shiflet and Lane Turner will conduct a funeral service 2:00 PM Saturday at the Mtn. Grove Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow in the Mtn. Grove cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Friday at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Sentara Hospice, those who sent prayers, phone calls, and food during Jane's illness, and the Broadway Rescue Squad.
