Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford
Martha Harris Klepzig, 82, of Abbeville, passed away on Thursday, April 03, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 06, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford. The funeral service celebrating her life will occur on Sunday, April 06, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Coleman Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Bain and Bro. Hilton Lane officiating.
Martha spent many seasons of her life in a meaningful partnership with her late husband, Dwain "Pee Wee" Klepzig, until his passing in 1989. This union resulted in three daughters, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a wealth of treasured memories shared along their journey together. Martha valued every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, consistently providing steadfast support in their endeavors. She took pleasure in shopping, particularly when discovering antiques that held rich stories of the past. Her passion for reading opened up new worlds for her, while her admiration for Elvis and enjoyment of playing cards added a lively and enriching dimension to her life.
Although Martha has departed from our presence, her beloved memory will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of her loved ones and friends.
She leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in her absence: three daughters: Paula Klepzig Brown and her husband Billy Ray of Oxford, Mississippi; Peggy Humphrey of Cartersville, Georgia; Teresa Hollowell and her husband Joel of Abbeville, Mississippi; seven grandchildren: Scott Hollowell and his wife Andrea of Abbeville, Mississippi; Will Hollowell and his wife Sarah Grace of Oxford, Mississippi; Molly Brown of Oxford, Mississippi; Sarah Brown of Oxford, Mississippi, Harris Brown of Oxford, Mississippi; Chris Humphrey of Acworth, Georgia; and Nathan Humphrey of Rockmart, Georgia; two great-grandchildren: Jack Hollowell of Abbeville, Mississippi and Charlie Hollowell of Abbeville, Mississippi; three sisters: Nancy Kellon of Bartlett, Tennessee; Barbara Sutherland of Bartlett, Tennessee; and Mary Hudson of Nashville, Tennessee.
The loved ones who departed from this life before her include her husband, Dwain "Pee Wee" Klepzig; her parents, Johnny Harris and Beatrice Turner Harris.
