Martha was born Saturday, April 3, 1948 daughter of the late Authur Harm Motes and Helen Kemp Motes. She loved her family; loved home cooking and the holidays. She had a wonderful personality full of laughter, She had a high spirit and a big welcoming heart for all those around her. She loved to collect dolls and loved Disney movies. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jack Donald Lovinggood and by a granddaughter, Kelly Lovinggood.
Survivors include her children; Scott Lovinggood (Regina), Becky Lee (Jimmy), Theresa Stovall (Tim); grandchildren; Allison Lovinggood, Brandi Lee, J.J. Lee, Macie Lee; great grandchildren; Jordyn Lovinggood, Skyler Rogers, Riley Rogers, Sawyer Joos; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sosebee Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, September 8, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sosebee Funeral Home.
