Martha Sue Oliver, age 91 of Belvidere, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Huntland on April 28, 1933, to the late Fielden Goodrich and Susie Pearl (Hawkins) Solomon. A dedicated homemaker, Martha Sue kept things around her home tidy and aways decorated for every holiday. She could usually be found doing yardwork and working in her flower garden, or in the kitchen making the best banana pudding. In her leisure time, Martha Sue enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and going to yard sales and shopping. She was especially interested in jewelry. Her family was her world, and she cherished the time spent with them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest "Buck" George Oliver; sons, Gerald Oliver, and Michael "Mike" Oliver; daughter-in-law, Christine Oliver; granddaughter, Crystal Lynn Oliver; and sister, Mary Ellen Garrett. Martha Sue is survived by her loving daughter, Wanda Oliver; grandchildren, Connie (Zac) Hodges, Jaime Oliver, Gina (Richard) Hill, Jessica (Tim) Ireland, and Joshua (Sarah) Oliver; great-grandchildren, Cameryn Brazier, Avery Hodges, Grant Hodges, Hailey Lanclos, Bailey Lanclos, Gavin Hill, Brooklyn Hill, Mackenzie Ireland, Aidan Ireland, Aliza Oliver, Edie Oliver, and Clara Oliver; sister, Rebecca Stover; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12-3pm on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Collett officiating. Interment will be at Maxwell Baptist Church Cemetery with Richard Hill, Gavin Hill, Zac Hodges, Avery Hodges, Bailey Lanclos, and Andrew Whitener serving as pallbearers.
