Martha Geneva Pierce

Mrs. Martha Geneva Early Pierce, age 78, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at a local hospital.
Mrs. Pierce was born in Rome, GA on March 10, 1947, daughter of the late W.D. Early and the late Annie Beth Puryear Jacobs. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Marvin Pierce, and her sister, Rita Converse, of Jacksonville, FL. Martha attended Cornerstone Church She was very outgoing and loved by everyone that she came into contact with. She was known for putting others needs before her own. Prior to her retirement, she was an inspector at ITT Lester. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she will be missed by all.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Terri Beth Carswell (Stephen), and Jody Pierce; her grandchildren, Esther Ruth Carswell, and Virginia Claire Carswell; her brother, Bruce Allen Early; nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Pierce will be cremated.
Graveside and Inurnment service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11:00AM at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with Chaplain David Thornton officiating.
