Martha Nell Richards Stowe
Martha Stowe, age 66, of Gainesville, Georgia formerly of Cumming Georgia, entered
into the presence of her Lord and Savior on October 10, 2025. Born on February 20,
1959, in Atlanta, Georgia, Martha was the cherished daughter of Curtis and Priscilla
Richards.
She graduated from Milton High School in 1977. She worked for approximately 23 years at SunTrust Bank until 2000. She worked at numerous mortgage companies until her
retirement. Martha was a member of Castleberry Road Baptist Church. She married the love of her life, Ricky Stowe, on March 7, 1992.
Proceeded in death by her parents, Curtis and Priscilla Richards, father-in-law and
mother-in-law, Charlie and Christene Stowe, and brother, Lamar Richards.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky Stowe, sister-in-law, Marie Richards, sister-in-law,
Brenda Adams, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Melinda Samples. She
also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, extended family members, and dear
friends.
Martha touched many lives with her warmth, loyalty and laughter.
The family will receive friends on from to at McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 from 3pm-8pm, and on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 from 9am-2pm.
A funeral service will be held to honor and celebrate her life on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 at 2pm at McDonald and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Cumming with Rev. Danny Bennett and Rev. Ricky Byrd officiating. Interment to follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, Georgia.
Pallbearers will be Koko, Kayson, Cameron, Cody, Ryan, and Eric. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike and Mark.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Castleberry Road Baptist
Church 7225 Castleberry Road Cumming, Georgia 30040 in memory of Martha Stowe.
