Martha Woody Obituary
Martha Virginia Woody, age 82, of Cumming, passed away peacefully at home on January 7th, 2025. Martha was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Ruth Witherow; son, Leonard Woody; grandson, Ricky Bruce; siblings, Richard, Willie Mae, Jessie Lee, Rosco, and Herbert.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Leon Woody; children, Diane (Scott) Parker, Leroy (Jane) Woody, Susie (Donnie Burruss) Moore, Lonnie (Dawn) Woody; sister, Pauline Long; 12 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Richard and Rev. Dusty Holtzclaw officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again on Thursday, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
