Martha Ann Young, age 67, entered into eternal rest on January 22, 2026. She was born on October 4, 1958, in Anderson, Indiana, and was raised in the community she always called home.
Martha lived life with a joyful spirit. She loved bowling and enjoyed being involved with the Special Olympics. A devoted sports fan, Martha cheered faithfully for the Anderson Indians, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Cincinnati Reds. She enjoyed taking walks around her neighborhood and never missed an opportunity to stop and talk with anyone she met. Martha was fearless when it came to trying new things.
Her faith was an important part of her life, and she loved going to church. She was known for her outgoing personality, happy heart, and talkative nature. Her laughter and kindness will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her siblings: David (Rosemary) Young, Lisa (Gregory) Haan, Rebecca (Donnie) Byrd, Rick (Stacy) McCord, and Bradly McCord; special friends Michelle Roberts, and Jay & Tammy Terry; along with several beloved nieces and nephews.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm (Carole) Young and Helen McCord, and her sister, Deborah Goodwin.
Martha Ann Young will be remembered for her bright spirit, her love of people, and the joy she brought into every room she entered.
