Martin R. "Dick" Bierworth

Middlesex, NY / Vero Beach, FL – Martin R. "Dick" Bierworth, age 90, passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, July 11, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Deborah (Beikirch) Bierworth; five children, Glen (Pamela) Bierworth, Brenda (Peter) Rizzo, Susan (Douglas) Benoit, Linda (Craig) Dowling and Mark Bierworth; seven grandchildren, Renee (Jon Michael), Amanda (Michael), James (Alexus), Paul, Olivia, Natalie and Keren; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Gail Bierworth, Sr. David Marie, Marianne Williams and Diane Beikirch; brother-in-law, Bernard (Ellen) Beikirch; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two siblings, George Bierworth and Betty Hartseil; and brother-in-law, Robert Hartseil.
Dick was born and raised in Rochester. He and his brother George started building custom homes under the company name of Donmar Builders, Inc., in the late 1950's in Rochester. The company later grew into Decor Builders, Inc. Dick was recognized in the community for building quality homes and multifamily communities. He was also a partner in Perk Development. Dick loved boating, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
