Solebury Township, PA – Martin Ernst Hadicke, 69, passed away peacefully
on January 5, 2025, at Doylestown Hospital.
Born on February 14, 1955, Martin grew up in Solebury Township. Martin
graduated from New Hope-Solebury High School and earned a Bachelor of
Science in Restaurant Management from the University of Nevada, Las
Vegas.
Upon returning to Pennsylvania, Martin embarked on a successful career as a
renowned stone mason. He possessed a true artist's touch, specializing in
traditional stonework that beautifully enhanced historic Bucks County homes.
Beyond his masonry, Martin cultivated a deep passion for culinary arts. He
dedicated himself to researching recipes and honing his cooking skills,
particularly in the art of smoking meats and crafting flavorful sauces. This
passion led him to establish "Fabulous Feasts," a successful catering
business in Stockton, New Jersey. He also delighted patrons with his smoked
meat offerings at the Stockton Farmers Market and, more recently, prepared
dishes for the Federal Twist Vineyard.
Martin was a man of vibrant personality, known for his sharp wit and unique
sense of humor. He possessed a keen ability to observe and playfully tease,
often poking fun at politics, heritage, or beliefs with a mischievous glint in his
eye. While his humor was undeniably bold, it was always delivered with a
warmth that ensured laughter from all.
Beneath his outwardly direct demeanor, Martin was a kind and sensitive soul.
This compassionate nature was evident in the outpouring of love and support
he received from his many friends and admirers, a testament to the profound
impact he had on their lives.
Martin was predeceased by his parents, Wilhelm and Hildegard Hadicke, and
his sister, Anna Snyder. He is survived by his brother, William Hadicke and his
wife, Dyan, of Fort Collins, Colorado; his sister, Christine Tomlinson and her
husband, Wayne; his nephew, Eric Snyder; and his niece, Hayley Tomlinson.
Martin's Life Celebration will be held on January 18th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at John F. Givnish of Buckingham, 4886 York Road. In lieu of flowers donations can be to World Central Kitchen.
