Martin married Diana Barber in April 1978 in Northampton, UK. They later moved to Connecticut, where Martin worked as a Parts Manager for Herb Holden for 34 years. He retired in 2018 and cherished his time spent with his beloved son Garrett, daughter-in-law Allison, grandson Baine, and his dog Lily. In retirement, he enjoyed catching up on every episode of NCIS and sharing his life stories and adventures from the UK with anyone who would listen.
Martin was predeceased by his son Tyler Roy and ex-wife Diana Rose. He is survived by his sister Christine Henchliffe, son Garrett Roy, daughter-in-law Allison Roy, and his two grandchildren, Baine and Ivy Roy. He was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
