Eddie passed away on Saturday October 18th 2025 in Longview, Texas. He was born August 19th, 1953 in Henderson, Texas. Eddie was a retired firefighter with the Longview Fire Department.
Mr. Watts was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Harriett Watts; two infant sisters, Lois Ann and Mary Teresa; nephew, Chris Whitehead; and brother-in-law Derrell Whitehead.
He is survived by his sister, Carmell Watts Whitehead; two nieces, Kelly Cashman and Katherine Johnson – all of Houston; great nieces and nephews, Victoria, Nicholas, Elise, Sophie, Blaine and Garrett.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8:00pm on Monday October 20th 2025 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Ebenezer cemetery under the direction of Crawford – A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson, Texas.
Pallbearers will be members of the Longview Fire Department Honor Guard.
