MARTIN WHALEN, 82, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. Martin was born in Montclair, NJ and lived in Jackson Twp., for the last 24 years.
Martin proudly served in the United States Army Reserve. He was a realtor with Caldwell Banker Flannagan Realty in Manchester, NJ for 15 years. Before that he worked for General Cable in Woodbridge, NJ.
He enjoyed bowling, sailing, and spending time with family and friends, but his favorite pastime was being with his grandkids.
Martin is survived by his wife, Margarita Whalen of 36 years; his son, Sergio Rojas and his wife, Jennifer; his daughters, Nancy Whalen, and Kimberly Whalen; and his two grandchildren, Sergio A. Rojas, and Isabella M. Rojas.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 1-4 PM, with his Funeral Service to follow at 4 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A private cremation will follow.
