Sunapee, NH: Martin M. Wiggins, Sr., 91, passed away peacefully at his home in Sunapee with his family by his side on September 14, 2024. He was born on July 8, 1933 in Sunapee, NH to the late Burt Wiggins, Sr. and Aline (Messer) Wiggins. He was one of 11 children.

Martin attended school in Sunapee and then served in the US Army. He worked for many years at Dorr Mill Store. Martin met and married Barbara (Aldridge) Wiggins. They spent 63 years together and were married 62 years. They spent their time raising their family in Sunapee. He loved spending time with Barbara and the rest of the family. He enjoyed the ocean, Colony Beach in Kennebunkport, ME, and watching the boats from the jetty. He liked car rides with Barbara, going out for seafood, and fishing. He enjoyed boating on Lake Sunapee, taking trips to Maine, and spending time with family. Martin will be missed by his loving family.

Martin was predeceased by his parents; loving wife, Barbara in 2021; and many brothers and sisters. Surviving family members include his children, Martin Wiggins, Jr., and Nadine Drew and her husband, Brent; grandchildren, Ashley Drew and her partner, Denise Freitas, Michael Drew and his wife, Brooke, Amanda Rohde and her husband Seth, and Erika Gould and her husband, Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Sailor, Chloe, Sequoia, Emersyn and Makallyn; sisters, Flora Johnson, Ellen Doxter, and Sarah Jedrzynski; and many extended family members.
