He was born in Richlands and was the son of David Sweet and Leann Bowman Mullins. He was a lifelong resident of Tazewell, County and worked as an Arborist.
In addition to his parents, David Sweet of Raven, VA, and Leann Bowman Mullins of Raven survivors include:

Sophie Bowman and Gracelynn Bowman both of Raven, VA
Two Brothers:
Brandon Lester of Tazewell, VA
Chandler Lester or Roanoke, VA
Maternal Grandmother:
Kathy Bowman of Richlands, VA
Several aunts, uncles and extended family who will miss him very much.
A celebration of life service for Marty Alex Bowman will be conducted on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Richlands, VA.
