Ricky Allen Bowman

RICKY ALLEN BOWMAN, 68, of Grundy, VA, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at his home following an extended illness. Born in Grundy, VA, he was the son of the late Dennis Bowman and Inez (Yates) Bowman Endicott. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a disabled coal miner. He loved spending time at his camper at the lake, watching baseball and an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his babies, Amilia and Montague.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2-Brothers: Dennis Bowman and Bert Bowman; 3-Sisters: Sue Owens, Julie Justice and Brenda Viars; Previous Wife: Kimberly Yates Bowman; Special Baby: Alivia Mullins.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Tara Landis (Lee) of Alabama; 1-Son: John Bowman of Grundy, VA; 3-Sisters: Connie Ramey, Jani Endicott and Patty Keene; Grandson: Austin Bowman (Ashton) of Alabama; 2-Great-Granddaughters: Charlie Bowman and Baylor Bowman.

Ricky is also survived by his second family and special friend Linda Mullins, Austin, Nathaniel, Logan, Ruchelle and his two babies Amilia and Montague Mullins who was the light of his world.

Visitation will be held at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. with a song service at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Services for RICKY ALLEN BOWMAN will be conducted Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Rife officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Active Pallbearers will be Austin Mullins, Nathaniel Mullins, Logan Mullins, Zack Lester, John Bowman, Austin Bowman and Lee Landis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ricky's funeral bill, P.O. Box 1016, Grundy, VA 24614.
