Condolences to the family and friends. Marva was a brilliant student growing up in a prominent family
in Frederick, Ok. I always looked up to her growing up and remember her as quiet, kind and generous.

Ms. Shaw was my 4th grade teacher. She was quite lovely. She was so kind and always made me feel so special. We had a special school event on a Friday night. She wanted me to attend and told my parents that she would pick me up. She did not come that Friday night. We didn't know why. Ms. Shaw came to our home the next day, Saturday morning. She explained that she did not find our house Friday night but she drove around Saturday morning until she finally found our home. She brought me all the gifts from Friday night's event. I was happy to see her and get the gifts. My family and I never forgot how she went out of her way to bring the gifts to me and let me know that she didn't forget me. I have never forgotten her. She was such a special lay. I was honored to know her and to have her as my teacher. She was simply the best! God bless you Ms. Marva J. Shaw. You are loved! Your forever student, Kathy.
