Marvin Hansel Baldridge, 82, of Barnesville, Ohio, formerly of Beallsville, Ohio passed away Monday, May 12th, 2025 at The Walton Retirement Home in Barnesville, Ohio.
He was born November 10th, 1942 in Pineville, West Virginia, one of 8 children of the late Claude Clayton, Sr. and Ida Lee (Forrester) Baldridge. Over the years, Marvin had been a self-employed timber cutter and timber buyer. He loved being outdoors and one of his favorite pastimes was feeding the deer and turkey around the family farm. Marvin was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed watching football.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ella Grace Baldridge; a great granddaughter, Hydrangea; siblings, Dal "Duke" Baldridge, Tony Baldridge, Norma Hammons; half-siblings, Harlan Baldridge, Junior Baldridge, and Elsie Green.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Emma Jean (Knox) Baldridge; daughters Sheila Aune of Danville, Ohio and Amy (Ed) Leskey of Cornith, Maine; sons, Clayton (Jana) Baldridge of Barnesville, Ohio and Clinton Baldridge of Wingett Run, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Bing, Shirley (Dan) Slone, Sharon Eikleberry, and Kathy (George) Williams.
Visitation will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, Harper Chapel, Beallsville, Thursday, May 15th from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2pm with Pastor Kyle Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers and keepsakes, memorial contributions may be made to the Walton Retirement Home, 1254 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713.
