Marvin Earl Foster Jr. was born on April 9, 1976 to Marvin Earl Foster Sr. and Annie Lou Mitchell in Stamford, CT. Marvin attended Stamford public schools. Marvin graduated a year early from Stamford High School in 1993.
While growing up in Southfield Village the personality of Scoop was born and sharpened while playing sports. He was never the fastest, tallest or strongest. However what he lacked in physics he made up the difference with a win by any means mentally. That might have included by hook or crook lol. Scoop was always going to win no matter what and that spirit made others gravitate towards him and always made him the center of action and attention.
Throughout his life he was affectionately known as "Scoop, The Lover, and The Illest". One thing about Marvin was that he never lacked confidence. He had charisma and "swag" before it was ever called that. He was smooth and could charm his way into most things he wanted. (Some of y'all know exactly what I'm talking about) He was a trend setter from a young age with the dreads, the 40 Below Timbs etc. The man could get fresh & dress with the best of them. He didn't let his size stop him either lol. When the lights were on is when he shined the brightest.
Marvin leaves to cherish his memory his partner in life Curtina Alexander- Foster, his one and only Baby Girl Martasia Foster, two bonus sons Jawora Davidson and Philip Humphrey Jr of Bridgeport, CT, his brothers Winfred Mitchell and Marco Bender of Stamford, CT., Micheal Midgette and William Foster of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., his sisters; Patricia Mitchell of Dover, Delaware, Sylvia Fields-Johnson (George) of Sumpter, South Carolina, Tiffany Midgette, Kimberly Midgette, Nicky Small of Stamford, CT. Marvin also leaves behind his special brothers; Vernon Smith, Dion Booker, Jimmy Lee Boyd, Delton Elliot, and David Lane and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Marvin was preceded in death by his father Marvin E. Foster Sr, his mother Annie Lou Mitchell, and his brother Roosevelt Mitchell Jr.
