Loving husband, brother and uncle, Marvin L. Hillson Jr. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the age of 57.
He was born on April 28, 1965, in San Antonio, Texas.
Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin L. Hillson Sr. and Alida Antoinette Hillson. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Janet Hillson; siblings Ivan Hillson, Alida Duggan and husband Thomas; three stepchildren; fourteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts, cousins, and friends.
Marvin graduated from Judson High School in 1984; he was a member of the R.O.T.C. and a long-time season ticket holder.
He held several jobs including being a referee, umpire, C.N.A, landscaper, and a bus assistant for Northeast I.S.D. and Judson I.S.D.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 26, 2023, from 5:00
p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park funeral Chapels South. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (2829 Ackerman Rd, Kirby, TX
78219) at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park
South.
