Marvin Ray Penn, 74, peacefully went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in London, Kentucky to the late Marvin B. and Nancy Penn on May 25, 1951. Truck driver, musician, and preacher of the word of God were just some of the things Marvin will be remembered for while here on this earth. He loved the Lord and was not afraid to tell the world.
He will be remembered by his wife Martha Penn; sons Raymond Collins, and Daniel Collins; daughters Angel Lee Palmer, Becky and Barbara; grandchildren Brooke Alexander, Megan Palmer, Sarah Palmer, Samuel Palmer, Christopher, Ronnie Emery, and Marvin Penn; great-grandchildren Trevor Palmer, Sophia Alexander and Emerli Alexander; sisters Ann (Frankie) Collins, Mary Lou (Dave) Phillips, Macie & Lora Newman, Patsy (Chris) Ruth; brothers Earnest Penn, and Daniel Brumley and a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Marvin B. Penn; Mother Nancy Brumley; son Jessie Ray Penn, brothers Wayne Wright and Eddie Penn and granddaughter Molly Penn.
Services are pending currently.
