He worked for many years in construction and enjoyed his work helping others. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and camping.
He is survived by his father Marvin; brothers Matthew and Mikia Thrush; step children Corey (Jamie) Rice, Cody Huckins and their families.
He was preceded in death by his mother Carol.
Cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Interment will be held on Riverside Cemetery, Alma.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma.
