Mary Ann Lansdell Mullins, 83, (July 12, 1940 - March 7, 2024) was born in Augusta, Georgia. Mary Ann was a graduate of Mississippi College where she received her degree in Education. Her husband, Frank Charles Mullins, 85, (October 7, 1938 - March 8, 2024) was born in New Hebron, MS. Frank graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a marketing degree.
They met their Freshman year at Mississippi College. Frank and Mary Ann’s legacy began on August 15, 1964 when they married at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. Anyone who knew Frank and Mary Ann knew how much they loved the Lord and their family. Together they raised three men of Christ, Charles (Lynn), Robert (Pam), and Andy (Michelle). This August they would have been married for sixty years. As of today, there are 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The legacy they left is one that will last for generations to come.
The priority of their life was to honor the Lord Jesus Christ. Throughout their life they served the Lord in many different ways. They welcomed people to become “family members” by allowing them to live in their home in times of personal need. Much of their service was devoted to developing disciples through deacon ministry, children’s bible drill, English as a second language, Church Choir, Adult Sunday School, mission trips, and many more. Later in life Frank helped lead a community Men’s Bible Study and they began a phone call encouragement ministry of conversation and prayer - you might have received a call! They were faithful members of Crossgates Baptist Church for over 30 years.
This past week, The Lord called them both home to heaven - together - just like they did everything else.
Of all the family and friends, the most important name to them and for you to remember is the name of JESUS.
