Mary A. Bennardo

Our dearly departed father Richard (Ricky) Vincent Bennardo of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on August 19, 2023. Our dearly departed mother Mary (Cookie) Ann Bennardo, 82, of Palisades, New York passed away on March 17, 2024. Mary and Rick were beloved by their family and will be missed by those they left behind. They are survived by their daughter Carmela and her husband Gary Ruc, their son Richard Bennardo and Maria Lucibello and daughter Donna and husband Gary Yantsos. Rick and Mary were blessed with six grandchildren: Nicole Tierney, Alexander Bennardo, Dylan Bennardo, Jennifer Yantsos, Logan Bennardo and Caitlin Yantsos and two great grandchildren Anthony and Giavanna. Richard was predeceased by his parents Calogero and Carmela Bennardo and his brothers Gasper, Salvatore and Anthony and his sisters Anne and Calogera. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years Richard (Ricky) Bennardo and her parents Guarino and Felicia Tulipano and her sister Flora Bachmann. She was survived by her brother Richard and Sonia Tulipano and sister Renee and Thomas Tiernan and her many nieces and nephews. Richard leaves behind the legacy of his steadfast loyalty and unwavering commitment to his family, Mary will be forever remembered for her never-ending acts of kindness and unconquerable spirit. She served as a reminder of all that is good in the world. A private memorial is being held on their behalf.
