Mary Darlene Bussard

Mary Darlene Bussard, 69, of Pittsville, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at her home after a brief battle with cancer. Born August 23, 1955, in Laplata, MD, she is the daughter of the late William Beach. She and her husband, Joseph Bussard celebrated 47 years of marriage in February 2025. Darlene retired from the federal workforce after 20 years of service and entered the marketing field where she served several large retailers for 20 additional years. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Darlene enjoyed camping and boating as well as casino trips. Most of all she had a special place in her heart for all children. She cherished every opportunity she had to spend time with any of her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Survivors in addition to her husband include numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law as well as three special friends, June, Barb and Bear all of whom she loved very much. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 535 Riverside Drive, Salisbury, MD 21801. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the church. Memorial gifts may be made to the Pregnancy Care Clinic of the Eastern Shore, 2604 Old Ocean City Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.
