Mary Carroll Obituary
March 3, 1928 - December 6, 2024
It is with heavy hearts and treasured memories that we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth (Coulden) Carroll, beloved wife of Calvin, proud mother of Mary-Jane (Avrim) and Grandma to two special grandchildren, Graeme and Alex. A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Maple Grove United Church, 346 Maple Grove Drive, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital or to Maple Grove United Church would be appreciated. "Remember her with a smile today. She was not one for shedding tears. Reflect instead on happy memories."

Mary was a huge part of my life growing up. She opened her home to us young girls in the neighborhood and let us play with all her old clothes. She really had some incredible dresses and accessories! As we got older she volunteered as a brownie leader and continued to be a part of our lives. As a teenager I was able to babysit for Mary and Cal so they could enjoy some time together in the evenings. As adults, we often invited Mary to join us at family gathering. She enjoyed catching up with each of us and when talking with Mary she always made you feel your opinions were important. She was a wonderful conversationalist and a great friend.
Our family will miss her.
