Patricia "Pat" Carroll, 91, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on August 22, 2025. Pat was born to Selma and Henry Morrison in Lewistown Montana on March 17, 1934. She spent her childhood between the Morrison Ranch and the Holland Home on Fifth Avenue. She attended grade school in Roundup, middle school in Laurel. The family then moved to Charles Heights between Hamilton and Darby. The time in the Bitterroot was a very happy time for her. She graduated from Darby High School in the spring of 1952.

She attended Western Montana College of education and earned her teaching degree. Pat and Jim Carroll were married in the summer of 1955. They were married for 45 years. They moved to Livingston where Pat took her first teaching assignment as a fourth grade teacher. They moved to Lewistown, Montana in 1957 where they both accepted positions with the Lewistown school system. Pat taught kindergarten at Highland Park for the next 33 years. She retired from teaching in 1989.

Pat enjoyed gardening and for 66 years, she raised beautiful flowers in her backyard and had a beautiful rose garden in her front yard. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, rosemaling, and golf. She followed all sports. Her teams included the Montana State Bobcats, St. Louis Cardinals, Seattle Mariners, and of course, all boys and girls sports with the Lewistown Eagles.

Pat was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church for over 65 years. Her later life she thoroughly enjoyed her association with the Lewistown Chapter of Red Hats. For many years she was the "Queen". Pat was always creative and always thinking of fun things for the red hat ladies to learn from and experience; often traveling to various restaurants and other Montana historic places.

Pat is survived by her sister, Kathleen (Bill) Morrison Kuchan; brother, Grant (Rita) Morrison; and many nieces and nephews, Kelly Bowen, Kristine Kuchan, Tracey Morrison Webb, Henry Grant Morrison II, William Bowen, Spencer Bowen, Kevin Hulslander, Dana Webb, Jason Webb, and Kara Webb. In addition, survivors include cousins, Carol Woolsey, Kim Miller, Swend Holland, Jim and Mary Clear.

Viewing will be held at Creel Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 26th, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at Central Montana Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, August 27th, 10:30 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at Zion Lutheran Church, 1:00 p.m.
