Mary R. "Mitzi" Driscoll (Watt) age 70, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on January 1, 2023.
Mary, affectionately known as Mitzi, was born in Darby, Pennsylvania on January 1, 1953, to the late Edwin D. and Ruth (Ehart) Watt.
Following high school, Mitzi attended Widener University where she met her husband Dan.
She went on to work as an administrative assistant at duPont, until leaving to raise her children. She reentered the workforce as her children got older and worked part time as an administrative assistant at Cardinal Appraisals.
Mitzi was a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. She was active with both the "Women of the Covenant" and the "EDGE for tomorrow" programs as well as a member of the church choir.
Mitzi was creative and talented when it came to crocheting and cross-stitch. She enjoyed trips to the beach. Her most treasured time however was the time spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, Mitzi was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan A. Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Driscoll Jr.; sons, Matthew D. Driscoll and Andrew D. Driscoll (Leila); daughter, Amy C. Johnson (Andrew); grandchildren, Cyrus, Nathan, Charlotte; and sister, Nancy Ebner (Bruce)
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation for Mitzi on Friday, January 6 from 10-11am at the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, 503 Duncan Road, Wilmington, DE 19809. The service will follow at 11am. Interment will be private.
