Mary was born on September 2, 1943, the daughter of Magnus and Ruth (George) Moen in Marshfield. She graduated from Marshfield High School. Mary was united in marriage to David Gaetz on August 10, 1963 in Bakerville. She worked seasonal at Figi's in Marshfield and was a babysitter. Mary was also a Cub Scout Leader for many years.
Mary very much enjoyed spending time with her family. She looked forward to all the visits, the meals, the cards and phone calls. Often times those visits would lead to a fun game of cards. Later in life, she enjoyed getting to see the grandchildren and especially the great-grandchildren. You could see in her face that just holding them brought her so much joy. Mary also had wonderful friends and a great church family that she appreciated and loved very much.

She is further survived by five siblings: Allen Moen, Ann Lyon, Jan Olson, Linda (Stephen) Linzmeier and Beth (John) Hiller; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David, her parents; her son, Jeffrey; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; eight siblings: Donald Moen, Kenneth Moen, Darlene Cammers, Robert Moen, Phillip Moen, James Moen, Michael Moen and Steven Moen; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
