Mary Ann Insko, 68, of Roscoe, IL passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on December 17, 2024 after her courageous battle with cancer. Mary was born to the late Robert H. and Clara (Bakka) Lockwood in Beloit, WI on December 10, 1956. She was the second youngest of nine children. Mary retired as head cook at Ledgewood School after over 30 years of service. She loved gardening, canning, baking, cooking and camping. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her husband of 47 years, Doug Insko; her two sons, Dustin (Jonelle) Insko and Jared (Erin) Insko; seven grandchildren, Isabelle, Brayden, Esmee, Siri, Matilda, Marlee and Maggie; siblings, Robert "Dan" (Rose), Kim (Dorothy), Mark, Randi Fleck, Alan (Patricia) and John. She is predeceased by her parents and sisters, Charta Lockwood and Kristine Leix.
Please join us for Mary's Celebration of Life from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Roscoe VFW Post 2955, 11385 2nd Street, Roscoe, IL 61073. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for a fund to be determined.
