Mary-Jane Bogli

Mary-Jane (Becker) Bogli, 86, of South Windsor, beloved wife of the late Donald F. Bogli, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at home, surrounded by her family. Mary-Jane was born in Hartford, CT, on October 19, 1936, daughter of the late Francis and Gladys (Corey) Becker. She grew up in Windsor and was a graduate of Windsor High School. She was married to the love of her life Donald F. Bogli on November 16, 1957, and together they settled in South Windsor where they raised a family. She was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in South Windsor. Mary-Jane enjoyed browsing and shopping for antiques, genealogy, camping and spending time at Misquamicut Beach with her family. She was also an avid UCONN Women's Basketball fan. A kind, caring, loving, and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to many, she will be dearly missed. She leaves her children, Craig Bogli and his wife Linda of Avon, Todd Bogli and his wife Karen of Middletown, and Pam Tisdale and her Fiancé Ron DesJardins of Somers; four grandchildren, Nathan and Lilly Tisdale, and Stephen and Matthew Bogli. She also leaves two nieces, Kim Conrad of Haymarket, VA, and Betsy Murphy of Winter Springs, FL. She was predeceased by her sister Susan Lambert. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Green cemetery in Glastonbury.
