Mary Margaret (Marge) Kane, 90, of Dubuque, passed away on April 1, 2025 at Stonehill Care Center, with her family.
Visitation will be from 9-10:30a.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Church of the Resurrection. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10:30a.m. Click here to view the Mass of Christian Burial for Marge Kane: https://vimeo.com/event/5039481. Entombment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Marge was born on March 18, 1935 in St. Lucas, IA to Arnold and Florence (Tallman) Kuennen.
Marge attended Immaculate Conception High School, of Dubuque, graduating in 1953.
She was united in marriage to James T. Kane, the love of her life, on June 2, 1956, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dubuque. He preceded her in death on February 4, 2021.
Marge was an active member of the Church of the Resurrection for many years.
In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bridge.
Marge is survived by her children, Brian J. (Kathleen) Kane, Shaun (Julie) Kane, Kelley (Ward) Symons, Michael (Suzanne Bruhn) Kane and Timothy J. (Carol) Kane; 23 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Aileen Klinck and Russ Kuennen and husband, Jim.
Marge's family wishes to extend a special thank you to Stonehill Care Center and Hospice of Dubuque for the wonderful care given to Marge. Your kindness and compassion will not be forgotten.
Memorials may be given to Stonehill Care Center or the Church of the Resurrection.
