Found her peace on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the age of 85. Mother of Greg (fiancé Lisa Stubbe), Mike (Cindy) Karvelas and Josephine (Jeff) Lappe. Grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 2. Sister of Carl (Carmen) Wegner. Preceded in death by her parents, Ewald and Josephine.
Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Additional Visitation will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 118 South K Street, Sparta, Wisconsin on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held Oak Grove Cemetery in Sparta, Wisconsin.

Mary was a very special Yia Yia to my boys. Her love for them was very apparent. She definitely brought humor and her own special personality to all of our lives. Her memory is truly eternal

When remembering Mary I think of these qualities: loving, energetic, determined and supportive. She always had kind words for her family and shared loving memories of them with me. Her eyes had a sparkle to them and she loved to laugh. Deeply faithful to the end. I will miss her.
