Mary Bagwell Kennedy, age 79, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023. She was born in 1943, to the late John and Rose Louise Bagwell. Mary was a member of Freedom Tabernacle in Cumming, GA. She loved her family and enjoyed every moment she had to be with them. She loved flowers and gardening. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joel Kennedy.
She is survived by her children, Joy (Todd) Rambo, Jan (Raleigh) Phillips, Jon (Candy) Kennedy, and Jill (Robbie) Mathis; grandchildren, Nathan (Kristy) Phillips, Marci (Josh) Jones, Abbey (Zach) Princell, Jacob (Laurel) Phillips, Makayla Kennedy, Andrew (Kaitlyn) Rambo, Bennett (Kendall) Mathis, Malachi Mathis, Mariah Kennedy, and Kara Mathis; 1 great grandchild, Easton Phillips; siblings, Blake (Bonnie) Bagwell, Kenneth (Jean) Bagwell, Miriam Puckett, Trent (Gail) Bagwell, Phyllis Stamps, and Phillip (Holly) Bagwell; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Pastor Robbie Mathis and Pastor Jonathan Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Freedom Tabernacle Church in Cumming, GA.
