Mary J. Lattanzio (nee Grogan) of Orland Park, born February 27, 1952, passed into Eternal Life August 2, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of Joseph A. Lattanzio for 49 beautiful years.
Devoted mother of Joseph M. and Patrick G. (Kelli) Lattanzio.
Proud grandma of Henry and Frances.
Cherished daughter of the late Lawrence and Jane Grogan (nee Moroney)
Loving sister of Lawrence (Dawn) Grogan, Rev. William Grogan, Michael (Sheila) Grogan and the late Patricia Grogan.
Adoring aunt of Kim, Michelle, Catherine, Colleen (Jarod), Erin (Tony) and John (Emily). Great-aunt of Jack, Graeme, Annie & Luke; Owen, Connor & Paige; Tommy, Grace & Henry.
Treasured cousin of the Kemp family.
Best and longtime friend of Virginia (Bob) Chilcutt.
Alumna of Queen of Martyrs Grammar School, Mother McAuley High School and Loyola University. Mary was a CPA and a former IRS Agent. After retiring from the IRS became a devoted mother, wife and caregiver to her mother, sister and family.
Many thanks to outstanding medical care at Northwestern Hospital (Chicago) and especially Dr. Daniela E. Matei and Karen Novak, MSN, RN, ACNP-BC at Maggie Daley Center for Women's Cancer care, as well as all the other outstanding doctors and nurses that took care of Mary these past 5 years.
Visitation Monday 3-8 p.m.
Funeral Tuesday 8:45 a.m. from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL to St. Michael Church, Mass 9:30 a.m.
Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
