Mary Lois Yearout

Mary Lois (Tipton) (Hicks) Yearout, age 89, of Maryville, TN, passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2025, surrounded by love. She was born on January 5, 1936, and lived a life full of grace, kindness, and devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, J.D. Hicks and William Yearout; her daughter, Janet Morton; and her son, Jesse Daniel Hicks. She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Pam (Eddy) Tilley; son-in-law, Jerry Morton; grandchildren, Jacob Adams (Melissa) Tilley and Joseph Rex (Mandy) Tilley; along with many great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mary Lois will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her. She loved spending time with her family, tending to her beautiful flower beds, and watching the birds that brought her joy. Her strong faith in Jesus Christ guided her throughout her life. She was a true believer whose devotion inspired those around her. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." – Psalm 23:1. Her love and faith were a guiding light to her family. Though she is gone from our sight, she will never be gone from our hearts. The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support during this time.
