Lafayette: On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, God opened the gates of heaven for one of His angels to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Mary was born on July 2, 1998, in
Lafayette, Louisiana to Roy Malbreaux and Ramona George. She was a devoted sister, auntie, daughter, and friend.
Mary was a lovely young lady with big dreams, whose impact on those around her was profound. Her smile brightened every room, and her personality was unforgettable. Her compassion and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Mary was dedicated to her education, graduating from Acadiana High School in 2017. She continued her academic journey at SLCC, where she earned a business degree in 2022. Her passion for learning and self-improvement did not stop there, as she was also pursuing further studies at McNeese State University. Mary was determined to make a difference in the world, and her drive and ambition were evident in all her endeavors.
Mary's family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She was a loving and caring sister to her siblings, always offering a listening ear and a comforting presence. As an aunt, she adored her nieces and nephews, and her playful spirit brought joy to their lives. Her bond with her parents, was incredibly strong, and she constantly expressed her gratitude for their unwavering support and love.
Mary was preceded in death by her grandmother, Josephine George Henry and Matilda Malbreaux; her uncle, Drexel Allen George and Paul Malbreaux Jr,and Curly Malbreaux; her cousin, Damien George Jr; her great uncle, Carl David Perry, her aunt; Mary Marie Malbreaux.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents,Roy Malbreaux and Ramona George; her two brothers, Kenderick George and Kendrae George; her two sisters, La'tonna George and Roynell Malbreaux, her four nephews; Da'Mariyon Broussard, Lakasin Gabrielle,Kamari George, and Demery Harris ; her three nieces; Royalty Broussard, Kaycee George, and Kenzie Geroge and her aunt; Ophelia Hill (Moses).
Mary's life, was filled with love, joy, and an unyielding spirit. Her legacy of kindness, ambition, and warmth will forever be remembered by all who knew her. Her presence brought light into the lives of those around her, and her memory will continue to inspire and uplift. While her departure leaves a void that can never be filled, the impact she made on this world will endure through the lives she touched.
As we mourn the loss of Mary, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived. Her dreams, her laughter, and her love will remain with us always. Heaven has gained a precious angel, and her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
