Mary Theriot Naquin, age 74, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was a native and resident of Houma, La.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial visitation in Chapel Dauphine at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Jim Morrison will officiate the service.
Mary is survived by her husband of 53 years, Glenn Naquin; children, Shanna Thibodeaux and husband Kent, Aaron Naquin and wife Janelle; grandchildren, Austin, Jake, Ryder, Emma; sister, Anna Duplantis.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Elby Joseph Theriot and Della Fanguy Theriot; brother, Carroll Theriot; sister, Nita Hebert.
For 35 years, Mary shared her talents as a beautician, bringing beauty and joy to countless clients. Mary's greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them. A nature lover at heart, she enjoyed fishing, gardening, and exploring the great outdoors, with a particular fondness for the mountains. Her spirit was adventurous, embracing every opportunity to create lasting memories and share new experiences.
Mary will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her. May she rest in peace.
