Mary F. Neuman, nee Duncan, 73, of Hecker, Illinois, born May 4, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mary was a retired nurse from Oak Hill in Waterloo, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Neuman; her parents, Jack and Floy, nee Charlton, Duncan; a granddaughter, Courtney Kish; and a sister, Patricia Groppe.
Surviving are her daughter, Kim (Jerry) Karcher of Columbia, IL; her loving boyfriend, Sid Grohmann of Hecker, IL; two brothers, Bud Duncan of Edwardsville, IL and Richard (Debbie) Duncan of Cahokia, IL; a sister, Mona Cunningham of Festus, MO; a grandson, Scott (Adrienne) Kish of Columbia, IL; and three great granddaughters, Aria Pretto, Mia Kish, and Ellie Kish. She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.
In i of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
In following Mary's wishes a private cremation was to take place. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
