Mary Nopper Obituary
Mary Lou was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Cletus "Dutch" and Dorothy Weber and graduated from St. Joseph Infirmary School of Nursing in 1964. She retired after 32 years from Our Lady of Peace as a nurse and was a long-time member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Mary Lou enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and going to the casinos.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Chuck Nopper.
Carrying on Mary Lou's legacy are her husband of 58 years, Norb Nopper; daughters, Laura Brown (Roger) and Lisa Allen (Steve); daughter-in-law, Denise Nopper; sister, Lynda Schroder; brother, John Weber (Theresa); grandchildren, Kara McCarthy (Matt), Jessi Hadley, Jenna Nopper, Danielle Hadley, Tori Sweet (Cam), Brinley Nopper, Walker Allen, Jordan Hadley, and Katie Nopper; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-8PM on Thursday, May 8 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Funeral Mass will be at 11AM on Friday, May 9 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Cherrywood Drive, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sisters of St. Benedict or Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
