Mary Anna "Meg" Reese, 74, of York passed away on November 7, 2025. She was born in Columbia to the late Martillus and Mary Anna Francis Becker and spent most of her life in this area.
Meg attended Columbia High School and worked for many years with the former ITT Grinnell. She enjoyed traveling. Meg loved spending her time with dog and best friend Gabbie. She will be remembered for living her life to the fullest with her feistiness and vigor.
Meg leaves behind three sons, Gary Jones, Randy, husband of Barb Jones, and Jason, husband of Sue Lease; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren; three siblings, Earl Mellinger, Mindy Regel, and Sharon Guerrie; numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael "Brown eyes" Reese; two grandchildren, Cody and Kyle Jones; two siblings, Joan Yohe and Mikey Mellinger.
There will be no formal services for Meg and any future services will be announced by her family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Dr, Lancaster, PA 17601.
