Mary Grace Ross, 97, of Louisville passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
She was born September 21, 1926, one of four children to James Henry McClocklin and Mary Elena Smelser McClockin. Her late husbands, Paul Ross and Russell Davis; son, Brad Ross; two brothers, James and Norman McClockin; and sister, Patricia Elizabeth Watson all preceded her in death.
Having received her bachelor's degree in nursing, her position as an RN took her to new places. She held positions as a pediatric specialist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN; and Kingston General Hospital, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Mary Grace loved a good game of golf, enjoyed being around her family and friends creating memories. Mary Grace served in positions for the Women's Club of Louisville and volunteered at the Louisville Deaf Oral School.
Mary Grace is survived by her children, Jack Ross (Kathy), Mary Pat Fischer and Bob Ross; grandchildren, Paul Ross and Daniel Ross (Kara); Hunter and Connor Fischer; Hannah Kirkland, Mallory King (Hunter), Eryn Simpson; Dustin and Amber Kirkland; and Christine Sample (David); great grandchildren, Cole and Ava Ross; Ashton and Catilyn Sample; Alexis Crawley; and two great-great grandchildren, Isaiah and Rome Kirkland. Mary Grace was also blessed with her second late husband, Russell's family; five children, Bobby, Rusty, Debbie (deceased), Melanie and Lucy, along with many grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.
Mary Grace will be laid to rest in Elizaville Cemetery, Ewing, KY in a private ceremony.
Memorial gifts in the form of contributions may be made to the Louisville Deaf Oral School, Heuser Hearing Institute, 111 E. Kentucky Street, Louisville, KY 40203.
