Mary Louise Straka, 80, of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at St. Luke's Fountain Hill.
Born on March 14, 1945, in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary C. (Csuk) Straka.
Mary Lou was a faithful member of Saints Simon and Jude Church, Bethlehem where she volunteered for many years. She also volunteered for over 41 years at ArtsQuest and gave her time to many other organizations throughout her life. Volunteering meant a lot to Mary Lou; she was always giving of her time and it brought her great joy and many friends.
Mary Lou will be greatly missed by her faithful partner, Dave Bender, her niece and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and her great-great nieces and nephews, her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Joan Straka Pulley and Kenneth Pulley.
Services for Mary Lou will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an organization of your choice.
