Mary Lou Urrea went to her heavenly home September 5, 2025 at the age of 79. She was born July 31, 1946 in Victoria, Texas to the late Nato and Delia Urrea.
Family and friends will gather for visitation Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 6:30 PM at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy., in Victoria, Texas. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory in Victoria, Texas with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Honoring Mary Lou as pallbearers will be Henry Salazar, Robert Rodriguez, Sr., Ernest Urrea, Michael Urrea, Derek Roberts and Carl Roberts, Sr.
Mary Lou graced the beauty industry with her talents for over 55 years and spent her last few years of her career with Papillon Salon and Spa Boutique. Mary Lou loved her career and was such a people person. Her clients, over the years, meant so much to her. Mary Lou was a devout Catholic. She loved life. She enjoyed being with her friends and her grandson, Derek. She also loved listening and dancing to Tejano music. She enjoyed shopping and the good things in life. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Nato and Delia Urrea; siblings, Lupe Urrea, Eddie Urrea, Buddy Urrea, Emma Urrea.
Leaving to cherish her memory is her daughter, Peggy Ann Villarreal; brother, Ernest Urrea; grandson, Derek Michael Roberts; along with many other family members and friends.
The family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
