Mary B. "Skip" Wagoner, 89, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully Monday, Feburary 20, 2023 in her home, with her husband, Mike and son, Tucker, by her side and surrounded by the love of her entire family. She was born on January 6, 1934, to Albert W. and Kathleen (Cain) Bloemker (Al and Katie) of Indianapolis, and was the eldest of five children. After attending Little Flower Catholic School, Skip attended St. Agnes Academy High School, Class of 1952. She then attended Butler University, where she met her future husband and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority, graduating in 1956, with a degree in elementary education. She later completed her master's degree in education at Indiana University, class of 1970.

Skip modeled unconditional love, serving as caregiver for Jean (Brown) Wagoner, her mother-in-law, with whom she shared a loving relationship for many years. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends, especially hosting Grandkids Week at their summer home on Ridinger Lake. Skip enjoyed swimming, teaching, bird watching, reading, and was an avid Colts fan.

Skip is survived by her husband of 65 years, Philip (Mike), sons: Mike (Laura) Wagoner, Cliff (Julie) Wagoner, Tucker (Jo) Wagoner, and daughter, Mary Wagoner (Eric Brass), siblings: Fritz (Fran) Bloemker, Kathy (Jim) Gogola, Beth (Bob) Groves, and Ed (Cathy) Bloemker, as well as fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 5333 E. Washington Street, where Skip was a member for 64 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Skip's memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, P.O. Box 19133, Indianapolis, IN 46219 or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 5333 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46219. Envelopes will be available at the church on Saturday.

Sad to hear of Skip´s passing.Skip was a fabulous person! She and Mike were responsible for me being able to go to college, be an educator / teacher and principal for 37 years. They provided me jobs, were my counselors, and best friends for years! I loved them both! I know Skip will be an Angel immediately! My hugs snd condolences to Mike and family! Mimi Goodwin- Costello
