Mrs. Mary Anne Williams, age 90 of Central, South Carolina, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 5, 2025.

She is survived by her children, Belinda Goode of Shelby, NC, Lucinda Hines and husband Casey of Greenville, SC, Kim Wood and husband Rev. Pete Wood of Central, SC, Beth Ward and husband Rev. Glenn Ward, of Morganton, NC, and Rev. Hank Williams and wife Mary Ann of Dallas, TX, a daughter-in-law, Debra Williams of Winston-Salem, NC, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, Siblings, Marvin Lewis White, Mayetta Champion, and Marjorie Spruell, and Michael White.

Born October 18, 1934, in Owensville, Indiana, Mary was the daughter of the late Amos Baily White and Vada Charles Shafer White and was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clarence Ray Williams, two sons, Jimmy Williams and Steve Williams, and her siblings, Herbert White, Marcia Diane Huett, and Gene White.

Mary Anne Williams was the unwavering heart of her family, a woman whose profound love and gentle strength were evident in every aspect of her life. A devoted wife to Clarence Williams, she built a home filled with warmth, kindness, and unwavering support. Her role as a mother was her greatest joy, and she poured her life into raising her children, always offering a listening ear and a guiding hand. She was known for remembering every birthday, anniversary, and important date in her children's and grandchildren's lives, never failing to send a card. As a true prayer warrior and with her steadfast faith, her quiet, powerful prayers covered all of those she loved, both family and friends. Her descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed. Isaiah 61:9

A Homegoing Celebration service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 10, 2025, at Cleveland Funeral Services, 2518 West Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC, conducted by Rev. Hank Williams and Rev. Glenn Ward.
