Michael "Porky" James Swaney, 46, of Anderson, SC, passed away on October 3, 2025. He was born in Anderson, SC to his Parents Michael Hoke and Shirley Jean Swaney.
He dedicated many years of his life working as a laborer, gaining a wealth of experience across various skills and trades. Porky found joy in his work, but his greatest pride came from his family.
Family was the center of Porky’s world. He loved spending time with all the children in his family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and joy. His personality shone brightly with a "family first" attitude, always putting his loved ones above all else.
In his leisure time, Porky enjoyed listening to music, an interest that brought him solace and happiness. His dedication to those he loved will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents Porky is survived by sons, Stone Hayes Swaney, and Tristen Aiden Swaney; daughters, Emalee Carlyn Swaney, and Jaylee Elizabeth Swaney; brother, Joey Lee Partain; sisters, Kitty Raye Partain, and Natasha Collette Hayes; grandchild, Madilyn Marie Bryant; and bonus children Cameron Michael Bryant, and Hannah Marie Bryant.
Porky is predeceased by his grandparents Hoke Lee & Betty Davis Swaney, and Kenneth Leo & Minnie A. Wallace.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home from 5 – 6:30 PM.
