MaryAnn Araiza

With deepest sadness we announce the passing of our mother Maryann Araiza on November 27th, 2025. She left us peacefully in in her sleep at the age of 85. One of her passing wishes was to make it to her 85th birthday. Maryann worked for many years at Arrow Gear before her retirement. She was a devote Catholic enjoyed her prayers and her church groups. Her happiest moments were being surrounded by family. She especially enjoyed family gatherings laughing and making memories with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a great cook and loved cooking for her family. Maryann is survived by her devoted children David Araiza, Jerry (Kim) Lebeda, Francine (the late Patrick) Crain, Camile Araiza and Dominic (Kaela) Araiza; her cherished grandchildren Erin, Samantha, Leah, Cherice, Nick, Cortney, Caitlin, Justin, Jacob, PJ, Mikey, Anna, Alex, Austin, Zach, Dylan and Cooper; her 16 treasured great-grandchildren; and her dear siblings Diana Soto, Ed Arcos, and Elia (John) Torres. She is preceded in death by her parents Hilario and Camille Torres, son Dennis Araiza, and sister Lori Rios. Visitation will be held Friday, December 12, 2025, from 9-11 am at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield IL followed by Mass of Catholic Burial at 12pm at St. Mary Immaculate Parish, Plainfield IL. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville IL 60446. Luncheon after services information will be provided at that time.
