Maryann H. Rickerhauser, Beloved mother, grandmother ("Nanny"), and great grandmother, 97, of Iselin, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at her residence.

Maryann was born in Newark, and resided in Iselin for 69 years. She graduated from Our Lady of the Valley High School in Orange in 1945 and worked at Hardware Mutual Insurance Company in Newark as well as JC Penney. Maryann married her husband, George in 1951. She was a Parishioner at St. Cecelia RC Church in Iselin where she was an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Maryann was a longtime volunteer at the Iselin Fair where she helped for over 40 years. She was a loving mother whose number one priority was her children and her family.

Maryann was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, George J. Rickerhauser, Sr.; her parents, George and Ethel (Waters) Volk; and her siblings, George Volk, Marguerite Heath, and Ethel Caracciolo.

Surviving are her children, Maryann Ross (Robert), Dr. Maureen Rickerhauser-Krall (John), Kathleen Koss (Mitchell), George Rickerhauser, Jr, (Grace), Eileen Trombetta (Patrick) and Margaret Wohl (Ovis), 17 cherished grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Helen Wall.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 3 - 7pm at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 200 Cooper Ave, Iselin 08830.

The funeral will take place on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 9:30 am from the Funeral Home followed by a 10:15am Funeral Mass at Saint Cecelia RC Church in Iselin. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown.

Donations can be made in her loving memory to: St. Cecelia RC Church, 45 Wilus Way, Iselin, NJ 08830.
