Mason Tyler Brown

Mason Tyler Brown, 25, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. He attended New Albany High School, where he was involved in the Navy Junior ROTC, and graduated from Floyd Central High School in 2017. Mason was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling and was an animal lover. Mason was known for his sarcastic personality, always delivering the punch line with an unforgettable smirk.

He was born on July 9, 1998 in Louisville, Kentucky. Mason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roger Dubrulle, Burell and Jane Brown; and uncle, Joseph Brown.

Mason is survived by his parents, Renee Koch (Kevin), John Brown; sister, Harli Brown (Lloyd Ellison); brother, Leo Koch; step-sister, Courtney Koch; grandparents, Roxanna Dubrulle, Bill and Charlotte Koch; nieces and nephews, Kensley, Llayne, Kayne Ellison; aunts and uncles, Brenda Johnston (Bruce), Paul Brown, Daniel Brown (Misty), Becky Thrower (John), Jeannine Michell (Steve), Steve Koch (Annette), Billy Koch (Shawn), Michelle Kristiansen (Dave); girlfriend, Shea Fiechter; and many cousins and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. His funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with cremation to follow.
